Keep trying until you get it!

I don't remember when I posted about my applying for a Macy's credit card and me getting denied... but i know I posted about it. It was some blog about telling you all to keep chasing after what you want and what your heart wants until you get it!

I told you guys I would keep trying until I get a Macy's credit card.. and I didn't stop. I applied three times and got denied, the FOURTH time they finally accepted me! BUT i actually didn't know i got accepted because at the store it said i got denied so i couldn't get the discount that day. But a week later, a macy's credit card came in the mail for me!

That's not my actual card.... it's just a picture off of google. For safety reasons I can't take a picture of my card, but mine looks just like that but with my name on it! AHH i was so happy! It has like an $800 limit on it though, so i still can't buy myself the Louis Vuitton bag i really want. But one day, i will have that Louis Vuitton bag.

Gotta keep chasing after your dreams,

Cheetah/Leopard nails & toes!

Many people have asked me how i do my leopard/cheetah print nails! So now you can to! You can basically use any colors you want!

I've tried ALL of these color combinations:
  • hot neon pink as a base coat before, with black outline, and silver in the middle to fill in.
  • yellow base, with black outline and white in the middle to fill in.
  • green base, black outline, gold to fill in.
  • and the regular, gold base, black outline, brown to fill in.
I wish i had pictures of the other color combinations, but unfortunately i only have pictures of those two.

It's not that hard, and remember patience is a virtue.!

Happy polishing cute cheetah nails!

MAIL for me??

Some loverly people have been asking for my address because they want to send me a letter! I felt so special that someone would want to send ME a letter! I just got so happy that I had to go out and buy myself a PO Box. I mean I can't be giving away my home address to thousands of people because ONE out of that thousand could be a stalker or something, have to be safe!

So if anyone wants to send me a letter, well now you can!!!

This is the address:

Karolina Pecak
PO Box 403
Glen Cove, NY 11542
USA

If you live in the USA, well then you don't need to include that part, but you can if you'd like to anyway!

I'm really excited to be getting letters in the mail! Because the only mail I ever get, are credit card balance statements just waiting to take my money hahah.

Letters, mail...and an excited ME,

My first day of work...

Was pretty interesting. I watched videos, and filled out some paperwork! HOW WONDERFUL! Was supposed to finish my training this past friday but then the manager changed it to this coming friday, and today i have a meeting. WHAT?! i didn't even officially start working yet and now i have to go to some meeting. AND on top of that, it's snowing. I NEVER go out when it's snowing, and now I have to. this is kinda ridiculous.

Anyways, so my first day, I wore...
Just a floral print high waisted skirt, white tank top with a little black thingie on top (since we can't have shoulders showing) and a thin black belt, and knee high boots (from Baker's).

The manager told me my outfit was perfect, but it was a waste of a good outfit since i was in the back anyway haha.

After I got off of work, i saw like the weirdest thing in the world. For all the years i've been going to that mall, i've never seen this before. I saw some man on stilts...
and a belly dancer...
It was so weird! But i was like "oh this is kinda cool". I hope they didn't think I was a creep for taking a picture of them for you guys!

thought i'd share my journey with all of you! Hope you enjoyed the man on stilts and the belly dancer!! :D

Up high,

Look what I did today!

So... i wanted to paint my nails today. i was thinking a matte nail polish, but then i got an idea to do hello kitty nails! (personally, i'm not CRAZY about hello kitty. i used to not even like it, now i'm just like eh, i like the nails and i like the hello kitty bags, but thats about it). But other than that i personally think hello kitty is a bit overrated. Even when i was looking for key covers, MOST of what i saw was hello kitty.
I didn't make a tutorial. i was thinking about it, but i wasn't sure if you guys like hello kitty? SO if you want a tutorial, i will make one eventually! Just let me know here =)

My friend thinks they look so cute! She even took pictures of them for her phone!!! teeheehee.

hello kitty cuteness,

Shaping eyebrows!

DO you need to shape your eyebrows? Are they bushy and going all over the place? Well I'll show you how to shape them! (Yes, this video was up when i first started)

You can either use a razor (which i find to be easier and less painful) or tweezers. The razor you can buy at Kmart, Sephora, and i don't know , some other places too =) Razors cost anywhere from like $4-15.
And the tweezers, i'd suggest tweezerman tweezers, they work the best! and they now make them with cool different designs! I know ricky's has these tweezers and drugstores should have them too (not all, but some do).
I wish i had those first leopard print ones, or at least the zebra, they're so cute! But i have just neon green ones, i've had them for a while now too! They cost around $20

So to find out how to use those guys, watch the video!! :D

Happy tweezing/razoring?

Alice's teacup!

My whole life, I've never really gone out to eat. BUT, since i've been in NYC like almost everyday of my life for the past 2 years (i don't live there, i just go to school there), i actually go out to eat with my friends. So there is this place called Alice's teacup. I've never ever been there before, but fell in love once i did.

It's like Alice in Wonderland, the movie. It was so cool! My friend and I ordered the "mad hatter". It came with 2 sandwiches, 2 scones, 2 pots of tea, chocolate mousse, and some cookies.

that's one of my best friends, Jenn. she's the one that took me to this amazing place and i had one great lunch!

Look how they even serve the food to you! i thought it was so cool!!!

I just thought i'd share that great experience with all of you lovely people! for those of you that live in NY/NYC, or will be here to visit, you must go to this place, because it's just so amazing!!

delicious sandwiches with apples inside,
xoxo Lina
