Superstitions!

Ever heard about the superstitions of a left/right itchy palm? 

Well one of them means money is coming your way and the other that money is going out. So from what i've researched, right is money coming IN (BUT don't itch it because that stops the money from coming it) and left is money going OUT (scratch away for that one!). 

Sucks for me though, because I had a left itchy palm. Though I guess that makes sense for me because i'm always spending money, it's not really anything new to me. But i don't spend ALL my money, i try to save some haha. 

I've always been one to sort of believe in superstitions. It's like magic, i think it's so cool! I mean you can't believe it completely, but to a certain extent you can always hope right? There's nothing wrong with that!

Guess who I met?

Who would of thought that i'd actually meet a famous person at work?

Well this person happened to walk into Baker's shoes. I greeted her and said "hi, welcome to bakers". The first thing I thought was "wow , for an older woman she looks AMAZING! i want to dress like that when i'm older". This woman was wearing a leopard/cheetah print fur coat (i'm pretty sure it was real), a leopard handbag and shoes, leopard headband. EVERYTHING was leopard/cheetah print that she had on, the thing is though that it DID NOT look overdone. It looked so good! So she then asked me for a pair of shoes if I can bring out her size, she has such tiny feet! She wanted a 5, or 5.5, but we didn't have it so i brought her a 6. Oh and they were leopard/cheetah print shoes that she had asked for! She ended up buying those shoes because the 6 fit her, AND she also bought another leopard/cheetah print bag! 

Little did I know that this person had their own tv show! She told me all of this while i was giving her shoes to try on. Her name?

I had no idea who she was, but i googled her when i got home! And she was wearing this fur coat!

I want that fur coat so bad. 

SO i was googling her, and wow I think i'm in love with her style. And her hair is just amazing! And she like always has darker makeup on!

When I walk through the mall wearing something more glamorous, people stare at me. Now just imagine how many people were staring at her!! One day, that'll be me... haha well maybe.

I still would have never thought that I'd meet someone like that at such a random place, and especially not at work. hehe.

January/February 2011 favorites!

I know I haven't done a favorites video in a while, but that's just because i'm not a major shopaholic during school season because i don't have that much time to shop! But here are some products i gathered up, that you too will like!

First nail polish: Mint candy apple I LOVE this color!

Keep trying until you get it!

I don't remember when I posted about my applying for a Macy's credit card and me getting denied... but i know I posted about it. It was some blog about telling you all to keep chasing after what you want and what your heart wants until you get it! 

I told you guys I would keep trying until I get a Macy's credit card.. and I didn't stop. I applied three times and got denied, the FOURTH time they finally accepted me! BUT i actually didn't know i got accepted because at the store it said i got denied so i couldn't get the discount that day. But a week later, a macy's credit card came in the mail for me! 

That's not my actual card.... it's just a picture off of google. For safety reasons I can't take a picture of my card, but mine looks just like that but with my name on it! AHH i was so happy! It has like an $800 limit on it though, so i still can't buy myself the Louis Vuitton bag i really want. But one day, i will have that Louis Vuitton bag. 

Gotta keep chasing after your dreams,

Cheetah/Leopard nails & toes!

Many people have asked me how i do my leopard/cheetah print nails! So now you can to! You can basically use any colors you want!

I've tried ALL of these color combinations:

• hot neon pink as a base coat before, with black outline, and silver in the middle to fill in. 
• yellow base, with black outline and white in the middle to fill in. 
• green base, black outline, gold to fill in.
• and the regular, gold base, black outline, brown to fill in. 

I wish i had pictures of the other color combinations, but unfortunately i only have pictures of those two. 

It's not that hard, and remember patience is a virtue.!

MAIL for me??

Some loverly people have been asking for my address because they want to send me a letter! I felt so special that someone would want to send ME a letter! I just got so happy that I had to go out and buy myself a PO Box. I mean I can't be giving away my home address to thousands of people because ONE out of that thousand could be a stalker or something, have to be safe!

My first day of work...

Was pretty interesting. I watched videos, and filled out some paperwork! HOW WONDERFUL! Was supposed to finish my training this past friday but then the manager changed it to this coming friday, and today i have a meeting. WHAT?! i didn't even officially start working yet and now i have to go to some meeting. AND on top of that, it's snowing. I NEVER go out when it's snowing, and now I have to. this is kinda ridiculous. 

Anyways, so my first day, I wore...

Just a floral print high waisted skirt, white tank top with a little black thingie on top (since we can't have shoulders showing) and a thin black belt, and knee high boots (from Baker's). 

The manager told me my outfit was perfect, but it was a waste of a good outfit since i was in the back anyway haha. 

After I got off of work, i saw like the weirdest thing in the world. For all the years i've been going to that mall, i've never seen this before. I saw some man on stilts...

and a belly dancer...

It was so weird! But i was like "oh this is kinda cool". I hope they didn't think I was a creep for taking a picture of them for you guys!
