Who says?

My best friend told me about this new song today by Selena Gomez titled "who says". It doesn't matter if you don't like Selena Gomez, but you should at least look at the lyrics because they are inspirational.

Here's the chorus part so you guys get the idea:

The point here is that no one can tell us that we're not this or we're not that. We can be anything we want to be and we can't let words bring us down. We need to be stronger than that. Everyone needs to know that they're alive for a reason, that they have a purpose. To someone, you are worth it. To someone, you are perfect. And to someone, you are beautiful. Even if you're the only that believes that, it doesn't matter. Think it, feel it, and believe it, and others will too. 

So tell me, who says you're not any of those things?

Because I say that you are. 

You're worth it, and you're beautiful.

Don't let anyone ever tell you otherwise. 

Believe in yourself, because i believe in all of you.

Saving a pigeon... or trying to. =/

As I was walking around the city today with my sister, I saw a pigeon just laying there on the sidewalk. I stayed near it because I wanted to see if it could fly. It couldn't. I didn't know if it had a broken wing, a broken leg, i didn't know. I just knew it was hurt. I stayed with the pigeon, and called an animal shelter which they then transfered me to 34567 other animal shelters looking for the one that took care of birds. I had my sister get me a box from one of the places nearby so that I could take this pigeon to the animal shelter. I felt so bad. I just wanted to help the poor thing. I got it some garlic knots and tried feeding it, but it wouldn't eat. 

After getting this poor pigeon into the box, i was on my way to the animal shelter, which was across the city! But i didn't care, i wanted to get this pigeon some help. Many people would be like, oh there's many more pigeons who cares if this one dies. But you know what, I care! Every living creature deserves to keep living!

So on my way to the animal shelter, the poor pigeon died. I was so upset, I cried when the veterinarian told me the pigeon had died. I didn't want to kill it, I just wanted to help it. The vet told me the pigeon didn't have any external injuries but that it's injuries were internal and could have been from getting hit by a car, or it could have even been poisoned. She told me that I was such a great person for trying to save this pigeon's life. And then she said "but at least the pigeon died warm, and you gave him that". Although the pigeon died, at least he died in peace right. Dying warm is better than dying cold any day. I wish the pigeon could have had just a little bit more strength to survive my journey to the animal shelter so that it could have been saved, but he's in heaven now. And there he will be okay.

I hope that many of you would do the same as I did today instead of walking past this poor bird and not doing anything to help it. Kind hearts are what we need more of in this world.

Forgot to tell you...

I also went shopping today... well today and also yesterday.. and the day before that too. It's all because I work in the mall, so how can i not walk into another store?! It's too hard and like impossible! For those of you that follow me on twitter will know that i'm a shopaholic and I really need someone to drag me to shopaholics anonymous. 

I know people are going to ask me where I get money from... well... I work my butt off... and well i'm in debt too... NEVER get those plastic magic credit cards, they are the devil!

I wish I had a picture for you guys, I really need to ask my sister to take pictures of me walking through the mall with 45678 shopping bags. hehe. maybeh next time.... 4 paychecks later. =)

I wore WHAT?

I WORE A TUTU TO SCHOOL TODAY!

Last night on the train on my way home from school... I just decided I wanted to wear a tutu to school the next day (which is today). and I did. Took me FOREVER to figure out what to wear with it though, but i finally got it!

I got so many compliments today it's not even funny! One person, didn't like it and said it was ridiculous. I simply said that i'm expressing my creativity and then they said "that's not creative, that's insane". But you know what, i don't care what they think! Because I LOVED my outfit today. and although one person didn't, there were so many more people that did! 

I walked into class and my professor said "Oh my gosh, you look so cute! You look like 80's, Madonna, junior high. So cute!" And i said thank you ahha. This other kid said "you look spectacular today" and many people commented on the tutu and said they liked it! My mom said that she would never wear that. Probably never expected her daughter to either, but i did!. And then I also stayed in the same outfit to babysit today, and the kids sort of just stared at me and asked me if i wore that to school. Ha ha.

Main point is that you should wear whatever you want, no matter want someone says. If you like your outfit, then wear it! No matter how crazy it is. Because i'll be wearing one crazy outfit too! So if that helps you be creative and more confident, then just know i'm out there walking the streets also looking like a crazy maniac! Hehe. But don't let what other people say stop you from expressing yourself. Be who you are. That's what's most important in today's world. Otherwise you're just a clone of someone else and you'll never get anywhere.

No facebook for now, but look at me at work!

I'm such a hardworker... that i'm not even holding any shoe boxes in my hands (in the picture below). hehe. I'm just kidding though.. i mean i am a hardworker, but it was a slow day today because well it's a monday and because it was rainy here. Who would want to go out in the rain!? Rainy days are perfect to catch up on things and cuddle up with your stuffed animals! teeheehee =)

I would post this on my facebook, but it is currently still deactivated. Which i actually didn't post about deactivating my account. Well guys, i deactivated it for a few reasons, those of which i cannot share with you, but trust me they were very good reaosns! I'll activate it again soon enough, and i'll blog about when i re-activate it, so all you loverlies that don't follow me on twitter will still know what's going on!

Anyways, back to me working, as you can see i the picture theres like a white card thing attached to my clothing, and it just says "Baker's" so people know i work there... though people still ask. 

Yesterday at work someone told me i was pretty... they made my night. and today someone told me that i look like i'm 27, and i'm only 19! i'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing haha. 

Anyways, i'm off to do homework!

Be the best you can be!

No matter what you do, or what you're trying to do, always try your best, it can and most likely will pay off in the end. or at least it will make you feel good. 

If you fail, at least you know you gave it all you got, and then you'll know it just wasn't meant to be. If you succeed, well then great! Either way, whether you fail or succeed, you'll know where to go from there. 

I'm also one of those people where i try to look my best everyday, first impressions are what matter most. Besides, you never know who you'll run into that day! Would you want to meet a celebrity in your hair up and sweatpants? or would you want to look cute?

When you're at work, put on a smile, and give it all you got ! Who knows, maybe you'll be rewarded with a promotion. As humans, we always strive to be better than someone else. Well you can be. Although there will always be someone above you and someone below you, it doesn't hurt to try to keep moving up.

Zebra print nails!

Here's another zebra print nails tutorial, since my loser-ness accidentally deleted the first one!

You guys don't need to paint your nails white, they can be any color really as long as it's not too dark so you can still see the zebra design when you do it with the black. Though if you want the actual ZEBRA nails, then stick with the black and white! :D
