Newspaper creativity!

Just think about the many things you can do with things that lay around your house. I just did newspaper nails! I love them! They're so creative, and no one will probably have the same nails as you, they'll just be like WOAH BABY!

So this was my first attempt at newspaper nails, and surprisingly they're actually pretty simple!
Aren't they so cool!?

Question of the night (for me) or maybe day (for you):
Do you guys want a tutorial on newspaper nails?!

Let me know , and if you do , i'll gladly make a tutorial :]

Dealing with meanies.

So I'm sure many of you that make videos on youtube have come across some haters. And even if you don't make youtube videos, what about the mean girls at school? Or the boys that tease you? Either way, we have all at some point in our lives experienced some kind of hate, even if it comes from our own family members.

I'm here to tell you to IGNORE the mean comments.
People that hate, or say mean things, are people whose own lives are terrible. People who are jealous of you and just want to see you come crashing down. Basically, people that have issues and want to put someone else down to make themselves feel better. Generally (as I have learned throughout my years of learning about psychology) those people have extremely low self esteem). SO you know what, think to yourself that you are better than them, that you have great things going for you. Don't let that ONE or a few people bring you down with their hate, there's many others that will give you love. Instead of thinking about the hate, think about how you hope one day they'll have a life as great as yours.

OR instead of ignoring the comments, acknowledge them, know that they're there, but don't let them get to you. Laugh at it, think of a comeback, but keep the comeback to yourself. You don't want to say anything back to them, because that's giving them attention. And that's exactly what they want, so don't give it to them!

Just laugh, like I do. I tell my sister the hate I get, and we just sit there laughing.

So for those of you just starting on youtube, don't be discouraged. More people will love your videos than they will hate them. And the hate, Laugh, ignore, and keep making videos! I love you all, so if you have any hate, need some advice, or someone to talk to, feel free to e-mail me (linamariax3@aim.com) and i'll be there for you all.

Love you all,
xoxo, Lina

Hello Kitty nails!

Yep, I've blogged about my hello kitty nails before. And I also think I blogged about how I was going to make my video and then Kandee Johnson posted her hello kitty nail tutorial. Who knew we were thinking of the same thing?!

Well before you say, I copied her... I'm just here to say I didn't. I'm not like that. There's no point in my making the same videos as everyone else... unless I do mine differently and have my own take on it!!
These are what mine looky like!

So I hope you all enjoy my version of hello kitty nails that everyone was so amazed I painted on my nails and didn't stick them on!

Here's the tutorial for you all!

Let's get hello kitty-fied!

Let's hope no one takes this the wrong way...

Well there's always going to be people that judge you. And I'm aware of that. But i don't think its fair to judge a person without knowing someone. Just like you can't judge a book by it's cover.

With what i'm about to tell all of you that read my blog/follow my twitter/ and joined my facebook family, I'm only hoping that none of you will judge me. Though I know some of you will because we live in a world where we can just look at someone and already know if we like them or not, or if we even want to talk to them.

But here it goes,
I got my tongue pierced.

I have posted on facebook that I wanted my tongue pierced. A lot of you said no at first, and some of you said that it's up to me. For those of you that said it's my decision, or to do whatever I want, thank you. Because those of you that didn't say no are less likely to judge me now. For those of you that did say no, well I hope you all don't judge me.

For what it counts, my mother did know I was going to get my tongue pierced. Although i'm almost 20, i told her anyway instead of hiding it. It's always better to tell anyway. Although she didn't exactly want me to get it pierced, she came to terms with it because I told her.

It was my decision, and only my decision. I've had people ask me if i want the piercing or if someone wants me to get the piercing. Well let me tell you that this was all me. No one told me to get it done, no one made me do it either.

Why did I do it? I've wanted a tongue piercing for a while now. I think i was 15 or 16 when i first wanted it. I personally just think it looks pretty. Also, since I can't have anything else pierced for work like my cartilage or my nose (yes i took it out), i figured a tongue ring is perfect since you can't really see it. I mean, how many of you noticed it in my recent video? I bet you none of you noticed.

It's not something I'm going to go around telling people i got my tongue pierced and I'm not going to walk around with my tongue sticking out. But I figured I'd tell all of you, because sooner or later someone will notice it on camera. At least you all know the story now.

Think, before you judge.

Dress to impress?

So i'm sure all of us at some point in our life spend hours in front of our closet trying to find the perfect outfit for that very special date. Even men (though most won't admit it) spend more time getting ready if they really like the girl (or guy).

I yesterday actually was already wearing this outfit.
Before I knew I was going out i was just wearing this already. Though once I found out i was meeting up with someone, i added some more blush (because it was like already 11pm at night), and did something with my hair. In the picture above i didn't have any eyeliner on yet... but then i thought i needed some.
So then with some eyeliner i looked like this :D

My point is that most of us want to look good all the time. Sometimes we may try hard and get compliments, or sometimes just a widdle bit of effort gets us compliments as well. So you don't need to stress over how perfect your makeup needs to look, and how cute your outfit needs to be.

When going out, don't be someone you're not, but be yourself. Yourself is what's going to get you a second date not your wardrobe.

Let's live stress free,

the HAIL storm.

Throughtout almost my whole life living in New York, i have never ever seen a storm this bad. We had hail! Thankfully i wasn't in the area where they had hail the size of fists (which broke people's sunroofs... it was on the news). Where I was there was smaller hail, but I ended up being stuck on the train for an EXTRA hour and a half and missed work.

So first it just started pouring rain...

Then we got some hail. Keep in mind that I wasn't standing right next to the hail taking a picture. I was on a double decker train on top) so the actual size of the hail (the white stuff) was probably bigger.

Then while the rain was slowly calming down and no more hail, the sun started peeking through the clouds.

Then when I got home (20 minutes away from the storm)... it was almost completely dry there. No hail, no giant rainstorm, just a little drizzle. I was like WHAT?! haha i wish i could have just been home earlier that day so I wouldn't have to have been stuck in the storm and miss work. But hey, things happen for a reason right.

Hail and rain,
