SHOE shopping!

Seriously, someone should probably drag me to shopaholics anonymous! I've been shopping EVERY day this weekend because of all the black friday sales and everything. Sales weren't just on friday though, a lot of them carried out to today! I guess we could pretty much say that I went a little overboard! And the reason I probably went a bit overboard was because this year was the first time i actually went black friday shopping! I woke up at 3:30am just so I could go shopping!
Then today I also went to the Walt Whitman Mall out east on Long Island (yes i live on Long Island).. and fell in love with this stand. There were so many leggings! I didn't buy anything though since i bought a whole bunch of leggings this weekend anyway, but i had to take a picture, because it just felt like heaven to me!
So after that I went shoe shopping! Love my shoes was having a buy 1, get 1 free sale. So if you saw shoes for like $160, you'd pretty much omly be paying $80 for one pair of shoes if you bought two! And the good thing about love my shoes is that most shoes are either leather or suede, and not the fake leather, but REAL leather, so the shoes will last you longer.!

So anyways, i saw these one pair of shoes, but i think they might have been a little bigg....
And these, well they were just a teeny bit small! I was thinking about buying them for my puppy.... but they'd be too big for him. So too small for me but too big for him! Maybe they should just make some better fitting shoes!!!
Did anyone else go crazy this weekend?!

And for those of you who don't live in the U.S. and don't know what Black Friday is.. well it's the friday after thanksgiving, and almost all stores have HUGE sales! So you guys should definitely go on vacation to the U.S. just for Black Friday sales!!

Black Friday!!!

So today I experienced something new! My very first Black Friday shopping!! YAY! i was always too scared to go shopping on that day because of all the stories where people fight for clothes and push you over, but NONE of that was true!! So for those of you also scared of that, well now you can go shopping next year because it's not true at all.

Some stores don't even have sales though. But some have AMAZING sales. Just have to shop aroundd! I've been up since 3:30am. I only slept for 3 hours before I had to get up, get ready, pick up my friend, and drive to the mall! It was still extremely dark outside, and it was raining!

So when i was on a search looking for hats for a gift for my friend... I stumbled across this UGLY looking hat!

Who would even wear that ugly gold hat!? and it had sequins all over?! that would bring so much attention! i think everyone would just laugh at you! no wonder they had so many, no one wanted to buy them because they're so hideous!

then when i was waiting in line at Zara's yo buy ONE shirt, this person caught my eye. I don't know who she is or anything. but who doesn't know that red and pink DO NOT go together unless it's valentine's day?! plus some fishnet stockings that make you look like a hooker?! this would definitely be on hollywood's worst dressed list.

Anyways, then I went shopping at Joyce Leslie. I saw these gorgeouss candles and had to get them! Especially since i'm in love with zebra print!! Then i lit them up when I got home and they smelled so good tooo!!

Then we took a little ride to IHOP! The international house of pancakes! I've never been there before so i was in for some amazingly delicious food!! Even the menu looked so delicious! I didn't know what to order!!

But I finally decided on some coffee, with cream and sugar. Yes, i used SIX little thingies of cream, and while we were waiting for our food, i made that pyramid!! =)

Then when I got my food, It looked soooo amazingg!!! I got pumpkin pancakes drizzled with caramel syrup and pralines with whipped cream on top! and with that came hash browns, eggs, and bacon! Ahhh it was all so amazingly delicious! I just want to go there again and order the crepes, waffles, french toast! I want one of everything on the menu!!!

And yes i took a bite out of my pancakes before I took the picture! It just looked so good, i couldn't wait any longer!

Anyways, so that was my black friday experience. My wallet is now.... well empty. Black Friday ate all the money in my walllet!! well, until next year! I better start saving!!

If you all went shopping today, well I hope you had as much fun as I did!!! and if you're still shopping, well then HAPPY SHOPPING!!!

Yummiess in my tummy....

Happy Thanksgiving!, or as I like to say, Happy Turkey Day!!

Today, what are you thankful for? Look back at everything that happened in your life this year, and choose the one thing you're most thankful for. Although you should be thankful EVERY day, this will be a summing it up kind of thing.

Is it the strength you had in your time of need? Is it just being alive and still breathing? Are you thankful for family and friends? What is it that you're thankful for on this holiday?

I am thankful for chances and opportunities. With job interviews and everything, i had a possible opportunity to work there. Even though I didn't get the job. But I still had the chance, and i'm thankful for that.

I'm thankful for my youtube channel, for having the opportunity to make an account and start making my own videos. And I thank every one of you for supporting me!

I'm thankful for my parents finally letting my sister and I get a puppy! In my eyes, it's the opportunity to take care of this living thing, to take on more responsibility, and to grow into bigger people with bigger hearts and much more love.

I'm thankful for just taking chances and taking opportunities as they come who made me who I am today. I am thankful for the many more opportunities to come!

Wherever you may be, you can still celebrate Thanksgiving today. It's not about the large amounts of food you may have on your table. It's about spending time with your loved ones. Even if you're not with them, know they are in your hearts. Today be thankful.

Happy holidays everyone!!!

Keep going until you run out of cake!

Sometimes we feel like we did everything we could, and yet we failed. Well I'm here to say, keep trying!

Yesterday I had a job interview at Forever 21. It was my very FIRST interview and I was so nervous. I wasn't qualified at all, and I'm sure someone else was a lot more qualified then I since i have NO retail experience. So why should they hire me? Because I can help create a positive shopping environment for the customers since i'm always happy and always smiling. Although I was scared and nervous, I didn't walk in there with nervousness but instead, i walked in there with resoluteness. I wanted this job! And I was going to do what I could to get this job. I know I'd be a good addition to the company. So when I was being interviewed, instead of lying and bullshitting my way through like most people do, i spoke the truth. I made him laugh, I laughed, and he had fun just interviewing me. And i had fun answering questions.

Even if I don't get the job, I know I gave it all I had. It's not my fault I wasn't qualified. Most places won't hire you unless you've had previous retail experience, thing is... where do they expect you to start if everyone bases it on experience? But you know what, I won't give up. I'll go fill out another application for maybe H&M, and any store I can possibly think of until one store hires me.

This doesn't mean just about jobs. This is about anything. Maybe you got a bad grade on an exam, well study harder, and keep trying to do better! Maybe you're having a hard time doing this or that, Keep trying! Sometimes you just have to keep trying and trying. You may fall, you may fail, but don't let that keep you down! Get back out there, and fight for what you deserve!

Keep trying until you've applied to every store known to man. Keep trying until you get what you want! You may keep falling, but keep getting back up! Keep going until you run out of cake!

"Every accomplishment starts with the decision to try."

get those feet back on the ground,

Some of my favorite products!!

So i bought all these products in October, so i'm going to call them October favoritees! I've used them just about every day, and they're just so amazing! Here are some of the things I reallly like :

One of my first favorites is L'Oreals Infallible lipstick in Beyonce Red -- wow I wish i knew they sold that in target before i paid $14 for it in CVS! Anyways this lipstick DOES NOT COME OFF unless you use an oil-based make-up remover. It will not come off with water! You can eat with it and drink with it, and your lips will look glamorous all day long!

Another my favorites is the Alba Un-Petroleum Jelly, it moisturizes your skin like crazyy! DO NOT wear it under your make-up, because you'll look like a greaseball. But put it on at night when you're going to sleep, and let your skin moisturize! Don't worry, this does not mean your face is going to get oily, but it will make your skin feel smoother, look healthier, and get rid of any dry skin you may have.

Another thing I ABSOLUTELY LOVE is Burt's bees citrus scrub! I have no idea where you can get this product in a store, so i've provided you with a link, just like I did for all of the other products! this scrub is gentle enough to use on a daily basis and you can even use it DAY and NIGHT! it will not irritate your skin because of the beads and stuff in it, or at least it shouldn't. It also makes your skin feeling extremely smooth and soft, and I just absolutely lovee it!

Another favorite is Sephora's Opi Nail polish in the color "caffeine fix". I tried finding this color for you to buy on Sephora's website, but it turns out it's extremely hard to find. I'd suggest for you to look it up on ebay, if you really want that color!

Another amazing lipstick is Lady Gaga's pink lipstick in the color "viva glam". It looks so beautiful when it's on your lips and it's extremely pink like bubblegum. The link I posted is to buy it from Bloomingdale's, but you can purchase it at any MAC store, or any other department stores that have a MAC section inside!

Now for my last favorite product for this month, it's Model in a Bottle! Model in a bottle is an amazing make-up setting spray, making your make-up stay on your face all day long without it sliding off! It also gives your make-up a matte finish, which is great because your make-up looks fresh all day long! I'm absolutely in love with this stuff! It's even better than urban decay's all nighter make-up setting spray! Try it out, it's like magic!

SO those are my favorite six products of the month. I hope you will love them as much as I do!!
And now here's a video for you guys telling you about these products with some funny BLOOPERS and things going on in the video! Hope you like it! Enjoy!

Happy shoppinggg!

It's November!!

In November we have the Thanksgiving holiday, but why should we be thankful on just one day? It's nice to get the whole family together, or friends, or whatever it may be, but shouldn't we be thankful every day?

thankful for another day that we're breathing and alive. thankful we have food on the table. thankful we have a place to live. thankful that we have clothes and are not freezing our butts off in this winter weather... even though it's not officially winter yet. thankful for family and friends. thankful for everything we have and that we're fortunate enough to have all these things.

some people don't appreciate what they have. if they lost what they had, they'd be lost in this world, not knowing where to go from there. at least when you appreciate it, you can imagine what your life would be like without it. there are so many people out there, in the U.S.A, in third world countries, and just about everywhere, you have people on the streets. people that don't have the money to afford things, people who don't have half as much as we have. so we need to be thankful for what we have because there are many others who wish they could have as much as we have!

The problem is that when things are given to us over and over, we start taking them for granted or we forget being appreciative of what we receive.

You will find you are in a much more optimistic state after you've spent a few minutes reflecting about your blessings and feeling grateful for them. Compassion and kindness will probably fill your heart.

What are you thankful for?

"A thankful heart is not only the greatest virtue, but the parent of all other virtues."

be thankful, today, and every day,

Beating the fears that are holding us back!

Fear of something bad happening in the future is one of the things that make us human.

We fear something that might happen, that isn’t happening now, that isn’t even showing its ugly face at the moment. These fears are holding us back from achieving something.
The most common fear is the fear of not being good enough. Not being good enough — is actually at the root of all the others you may also have. We fear we’ll fail because we’re not good enough. We fear we’ll lose our relationships, that we’ll be abandoned, that we’ll be rejected … because we’re not good enough. We fear intimacy for the very same reason — we might get rejected because we’re not good enough. Even the fear of success is based on the worry that we’re not good enough.
Do you have this fear? That you’re not good enough? I have, for all my life, and I still have it today. But here’s the thing: having the fear is natural. Letting it stop you from going after your dreams is a tragedy. You ARE good enough! You may not be perfect, but who is?
Don't let the fear stop you from doing things. It's okay to have the fear, but don't let it hold you back. Say so what, if you fail and flop on your face in front of 1,000 people, it's okay, you wouldn't be human if you didn't. Even the most successful people such as Bill Gates, Barrack Obama, etc... have this fear, they just don't show it and they most certainly don't let it hold them back.
Acknowledge your fear. This is a huge first step. If you do just this today, you’ve done something great. Many of us have these fears, but they are at the back of our mind, unnoticed, unacknowledged, as we try to ignore them and pretend they’re not there. But they are there. And they affect us, every day, all our lives. So acknowledge the fear.
Write it down. What’s your fear? Write it on a piece of paper. Writing it down not only acknowledges that you have it — bringing it out into the light — but it externalizes the fear. It takes the fear from the dark lurking places in the back of your mind, where it has power over you, out into the light of day, outside of you, where you have power over the fear. Take control over it by writing it down. It is now outside you. You can do something about it.
Feel the fear. You’ve acknowledged it, but you’re still afraid of it. Recognize that you’re not alone, that we ALL have these fears, that we all think we might not be good enough. This fear isn’t as bad as you think. It’s a part of you, but it doesn’t control you
Ask yourself: what’s the worst thing that can happen? Often it’s not as bad as we think. Do you fear failing in a new career? What would happen if you did? You’d get another job. You’d move on. You’d live. Do you fear being rejected by someone of the opposite sex? What would happen if you were? You’d find someone else who is more suited for you, you’d live. Do you fear being broke? What would happen if you were? You’d cut back on your expenses, perhaps ask family or friends to help you out for a little bit. You’d find a way to make money. You’d live.
Just do it. Feel the fear and do it anyway. To beat the fear, you have to just do it. Ignore your fears and just go for it, so many opportunities will come as a result!
Prepare yourself for battle. When you’re going to take on an adversary, you prepare yourself. You arm yourself, and have a battle plan, and train yourself. Do this in your battle against your fear: arm yourself, have a battle plan, train yourself. If you want to be a musician but you fear failure … practice, practice, practice, then come up with a plan to succeed, then get all the skills and info you need to implement the plan, then practice some more. Then go out and implement the plan!
Be in the moment. Fear of failure (and other similar fears) are fears of the future. We get caught up in worrying about what might happen. Instead, banish all thoughts of the future. Banish even thoughts of past mistakes and failures. Now focus on right now. Do something right now to beat your fears, to pursue your dreams, and forget about what might happen. Just do it, now, in the moment. When you find yourself thinking about the past or future, bring yourself back in the moment and focus on what you’re doing right at this moment.
Small steps. Conquering fear and pursuing a life goal can be overwhelming, intimidating. So start small. Just take one little baby step. Something you know you can do. Something you’re sure to succeed at. Then feel good about that and take another small baby step. Keep doing this, and soon you’ll have conquered a mountain.
Celebrate every success! Every single thing you do right, celebrate! Even the smallest little thing. And use this feeling of success, of victory, to propel yourself forward and take the next step. Build upon each success, use it as a stepping stone to the next victory.
“To conquer fear is the beginning of wisdom.”  - Bertrand Russell

 Fearlessly moving forward,
