Many people fear the day of Friday the 13th. But why do people fear it? The really strange thing is that most of the people who believe the day is unlucky offer no explanation at all, logical or illogical. As with most superstitions, people fear Friday the 13th for its own sake, without any need for background information. The origins and legends of this superstition do go way back, but that's all it is, a myth.
The thing is, we fear this day because we feel that bad things will happen to us. But you know what, it's all in your head. If you fear the day and keep thinking bad things will happen, they will. Any one little thing that goes wrong in your day you will blame on friday the 13th and you'll end up forever fearing this day. Bad things happening are a part of our daily lives. It would be cool if bad things only happened on friday the 13th and not any other day of the year, but that's not how it works. Bad things happen all the time, not just on friday the 13th, making that just a regular day out of the year!
Instead of fearing this day, think positively! Don't think bad things will happen, but reverse it, and think that you'll have good luck today! That good things will happen. Instead of picking out the bad, pick out all the good and focus on that! It's all in your head when it comes to superstitions and it's up to you whether you choose to believe in them or not.
For a happy day, join me and think positive!
xoxo, Lina
