MOTD (Makeup of the day)

Wow, i'm getting really good at making up new things now. First instead of OOTD, I made up OOTS (outfits of the season). Now instead of "hey look at my makeup", I made up MOTD (makeup of the day)! YAY!

So anyways, this was me driving to work. I'm in LOVE with this makeup look.

Next time I should probably close my eyes and take a picture of that too. 

Oh and I was stuck in traffic which is why I was able to take a piccay. 

Anyways, so at work one of my co-workers was like "how do you get your lipstick to look so perfect?" and I was like "instead of using the lipstick from the tube, I use a lip brush!". 

Then, my other co-worker was like "wow I love your new hair color, and your makeup it's just so beautiful. it's like you could be one of the Charlie's Angels!" and I was like "aww thanks!"

haha so many people have been liking this makeup look a lot including me. And I think I might even do a tutorial on it!

Pumpkin season!!

YAY! it's pumpkin season!

And my mommy bought me pumpkin cupcakes (muffins), whatever you want to call them. But they're so delicious. I wish I knew the recipe for these cupcakes!

They're pumpkin cheesecake cupcakes.

Ha, my mom complained that they costed her $4.29. But she was like "it's only pumpkin season once a year so i bought them for you". My sister... who doesn't even like pumpkin, is eating my cupcakes for the cheesecake -_- . why didn't my mom just buy her a cheesecake?! So I only got to eat 3... :(

they're so moist and so pumpkin-y and delicious and it's like heaven! If anyone could find a recipe for these babies that looks pretty good, post it below, and i might end up making a video on these delicious cuppycakes!

Fall Fashion!

Fall is one of my favorite seasons. It's equal with summer, and I only like summer because I like wearing bathing suits and going to the beach (which i've only done once in 2 years). Anyways so Fall is another one of my favorite seasons BECAUSE I LOVE boots, and trench coats, and scarves. And Fall clothes are always just so cute! Not too hot, and not too cold, just perfect. It's also not as cold as the winter, so I don't have to wear a jacket... and jackets are one of my least favorite things.... and that excludes trench coats.

So I put together.... or rather wore these 7 outfits, remembered what I wore, and then filmed it for you all. Like I've said in previous videos, I don't have just one style, but more or a range of styles. What I like, you may not like and vice versa. You may think so and so doesn't match or I look like so and so, but what I've learned is not to care what people think about what I'm wearing, because i'll wear whatever I want anyway.

Gossip Girl

I'm super super excited Gossip Girl is finally back on again! I always look forward to watching this show, it's definitely one of my favorites! And one day, I will be as well off as they are where i'll be able to live in Manhattan, and not just near the city. 

Anyways, who watched Gossip Girl today?!

It was such an amazing episode! But there's a few things I need to mention and get off my chest, so what better way to do it, then type up a blog to my gossip girl fans here?

1. Well first, My baby (Chuck Bass or Ed Westwick) is hurt, and I really want to fly over to him and heal him. Because that looks like it hurts, and he's being so brave!
2. Second, my baby, is soooo sexy when he's so positive and fearless! <3
3. I can't believe Dan loves Blair
4. This is the main WHAT?! Blair is PREGGERS! Now i'm just wondering with who's baby? Is it her spring fling, Dan's, baby? Or her fiancees? Knowing this show though, it's probably going to be Dan's and ohh man, this is just going to get better.

Starbucks ripped me off. -_-

This morning I was all cozy in bed, wrapped up under my blankets. I was super super tired so I slept til 12pm, but then had to get up and shower and all that nonsense because I had to go to work. As I was getting out of bed, my sister and my mom got home from church, and starbucks.

They got their drinks and everything and bought me a pumpkin spice latte. But it felt really light, like not heavy for a cup of coffee. SO i look in the cup, and this is what I see...

They sold a half empty cup to my mother and my sister. Like the rest must have been filled with whipped cream because you could see the cinnamon on the sides. The cover was clean, so I know my mother and my sister didn't drink it. They don't even like pumpkin so they would have no reason to drink it. 

I was furious. What kind of Starbucks sells you a half empty cup of coffee? I was so mad. I wanted my mom to go back there and demand a new cup of coffee or her money back or something, but she said she didn't feel like driving there again. UGH

Not happy with starbucks right now.

Late night meal

First let me show you my tupperware. I sent a picture of it to one of my friends and they were like "of course you would have that" haha. yep, that's me!

they had a matching blue-green cup with the blue-green bowl... but since my favorite colors are pink and green, i needed to get each in a different color. If you want these.... i bought them from Target i believe.

And this was my late night snack, at 12:30am, cereal with 2% milk, honey nut cheerios, and a cut up banana. Have you guys ever tried this combination? It it so delicious!!! And healthy too!!

Happiness Kit

Bedazzled camera

So i literally just finished bedazzling my HD flip camera that I will be filming vlogs with. I though it look extremely ugly, so i needed to do something to it. 

So after schoolio today i went to Target and picked up a few things, and this is what i came up with:

I still don't like the gray and the red button there, but there's nothing I can do about that anymore, at least not for now, because I don't know what to do with it, and because I ran out of jewel thingies.

This is what the back looks like. Yes I'm aware that sometimes rainbows are associated with being gay (that's the first thing my brother said when he saw my bedazzled camera), but i'm going to pretend that gay is used here in the sense of being happy! YAY for rainbows!!

Flawless looking skin!

Lately what I've been using is a product called BB cream. I'm telling you, it works wonders. No i'm not being paid to write this, I wasn't being paid to make the video or anything and all opinions are ALWAYS my own. I've always wanted to try BB cream to see what all the talk was about. And when I did, I was impressed. It's like a foundation + moisturizer + concealer + SPF, and some have other things in them too like brightening ages or improving wrinkles.

This stuff made my skin look flawless and so pretty! And the other good thing is that if you don't have enough coverage after putting it all over your face, just go back and dab a little bit more on the spots you need it. And just put powder all over your whole face after, and you're all set to go and show off your pretty face!

I'd definitely recommend trying these products. 

Two of my favorites are:

1) Missha M Perfect BB cream. I got mine in the color bright beige no. 21

2) Skin 79 super BB cream with the hot pink label!

I really liked both. I wear the pink one more often, I just like it a little bit better, but I find the missha one has a bit more coverage. Other than that, i wear both, i alternate.

I've decided to make a VLOG channel :D

So i don't know how this is going to go. I don't know if people will like it. And I still need to learn how to make the videos cool and stuffs. But you gotta start somewhere right? There won't be new videos on it every week, but whenever I feel like there's something worth posting, i'll post it on the vlog channel. I'll ramble on it too, if I have a pet peeve, I'll talk about it, I'm thinking that I might even put hauls on the vlog channel, but i'm not sure about that one yet. But I will put OOTD on the vlog channel since I have OOTS on my main channel :D

Out of all the names I came up with, my sister ONLY likes LinasJourney or LifeWithLina. 

So I liked LifeWithLina much better.

Fast food

Are you one of those people that loves fast food? Burger King, Wendy's, or the most popular... McDonald's?

Sure, i like to eat a hamburger once in a while. A big mac, or a whopper, and french fries with that. But not anymore, I don't think I could ever eat fast food again.

Watch this video, and how disgusting fast food is. I'm showing it to you all so you guys can see just how bad this is for you.

I think I might puke. Anyone else feel the same way?
Also... the food doesn't break down in your body, the fat is stored because it doesn't deteriorate like normal food does.

After watching that, are you seriously going to keep buying fast food?

Fashion Night Out NYC 2011

My first year at Fashion Night Out. It's so silly, I've lived in NY my whole life and I never went to fashion night out. What was wrong with me then?! Haha, well anyway this was my first year, so I figured I'd record what I can. 

We weren't allowed to take pictures of the Victoria's secret models or record them or anything, nor was I allowed to record Kenneth Cole.... but i did what I can and got clips for you all!

Which banner?

So instead of reading and doing my homework, I thought I'd make a new banner, one that actually says my full youtube username. But I want your opinion, so let me know which you like better!

Keep in mind that i'm not all high-tech saavy... I did all of this on paint.. because i don't feel the need to spend hundreds of dollars to get photoshop for a mac.

If anyone wants to make me a banner though, well feel free to do that! If i really like it, i'll put it up, if not ... i'll just keep one of mine.

A birthday to remember (lots of pictures)

The day before my birthday

My family and I all went to Benihana. It's the Japanese food restaurant where they cook in front of you. And because of how smart my family and I are... we forgot a camera... BUT Benihana took a picture for us, printed one out there, and gave it to me... so this is all i have from that.

And my sister took a picture of our drinks with her phone. My camera on my phone is like horrible.

 And here everyone was singing "happy birthday" to me. And i was waiting to blow my candle out. And of course, make a wish!!

We went the day before my birthday because I had a coupon $30 off but it was only good mon-thurs and my birthday was on a friday.

On the day of my birthday (August 26)

The good ol' days

About a year ago... I was a cheerleader....

Yep that's me on the right hand side of the picture. see how happy I was?

Even in this picture I was super super happy! 

Can you find me?!

Sometimes, the things we find the greatest joy in, disappear and are gone. For me, it was cheerleading. I loved being a cheerleader, i truly did, and I had a lot of fun, though it was also a lot of work. Unfortunately, cheerleading is one of the things I no longer do.

I truly believe that things happen for a reason though. Maybe bad things would have happened if I was still a cheerleader, maybe some people hated my guts, maybe something else, i don't know what the reason because I have yet to figure that out.

I thought I'd never be that happy again as I am in the picture above. I felt like everything was taken away from me, everything I worked hard for. But today, looking back at these pictures, I see that today, I am happy. Sure my life isn't perfect, but I've found other things I like to do, I've set new goals for myself. Because you know what, things happen, and although it hurts, the sooner you realize you'll be okay and the sooner you put a smile back on your face, then the sooner your life will fall back into place. Maybe it won't be the place you want or the place you imagined. But it'll be a place that will open many new doors for you with many more opportunities. 

Here's to living our lives with smiles along the way,
